Journal "Modern preschool education: theory and practice"
http://sdo-journal.ru/
- the most interesting and promising achievements of science in the field of preschool education, in an accessible form, the possibilities of their application are disclosed both for specialists and for parents. Special emphasis is given practical work with kids. It tells about the most original activities and games, books and toys that will help make the life of a child and an adult more intense and exciting. An annual competition for teachers is held. In 2013, the third international competition"Information and communication technologies (ICT) in preschool education - 2013"
The journal as a means of social communication occupies a dominant place among the sources of information intended for specialists, teachers and students. This drew the attention of publications devoted to the analysis of periodicals on documentation and preschool educational institutions.
In order to note the features of this type of publication, the example of the two most important journals ("Office work" and "Secretary business") shows the originality of the flow of publications on the issues of documentary support of management over a ten-year period (end of the 20th - beginning of the 21st century).
The use of information monitoring technology made it possible to carefully analyze journal materials in many aspects, taking into account quantitative parameters, authors, topics, and species diversity. As a result, review and analytical articles dedicated to the 5th and 10th anniversaries of the journals "secretarial business" And " ”, reflected the level of development of documentary thought and practical activities in the area of DOE.
The next step was the publication prepared by prof. PGIIK A. I. Isachenkova, ed. prof. Russian State University for the Humanities T. V. Kuznetsova two bibliographic indexes reflecting the content of these periodicals for ten years. The work was done, which has no analogues in this field of knowledge. This is evidenced by the responses that appeared in the press.
As a bibliographic genre, indexes of the content of periodicals perform significant informational functions, the implementation of which allows not only to freely navigate the thematic focus of journals, but also to model the development of the flow of publications based on the type and species diversity of the materials placed.
The implementation of the function of bibliographic summarizing contributed to the cumulation of materials for a certain period. Thus, in the reviewed bibliographic manuals, the number of published works is clearly presented, taking into account the content feature.
Statistical analysis showed that in total both bibliographic manuals include information about 1739 publications from 100 issues of journals. 1157 articles from the journal “ secretarial business"(68 issues) and 582 - from the magazine" office work» (32 issues).
Content indexes reflect a wide range of documents - legal and regulatory; articles of a theoretical, historical nature, debatable, review, industrial and practical, educational and methodical; information notes, interviews, etc. The array of identified materials contributed to a comprehensive and comprehensive disclosure of the features of preschool educational institutions as a field of practical activity and document management as a scientific discipline.
The peer-reviewed indexes also have a pronounced heuristic role. Bibliometric analysis of the documentary flow reflected in the journals "office work ” and “Secretary”, allows you to discover the subject field of these areas of activity. The subject matter of the articles makes it possible to find out the range of related periodicals in which similar materials are published.
The information retrieval potential of any bibliographic manual largely depends on the methods used to characterize documents. More informative in this regard is the fully annotated index of the contents of the journal " office work».
An analysis of the content, structure, volume, style of annotations indicates that the compiler, a bibliographer by profession, successfully implemented the methodological requirements when compiling 582 monographic and group annotations. Various ways annotations contributed to the clarification and addition of titles of articles. a brief description of their content is accompanied by information about the author, about the territorial and chronological boundaries of the issues under consideration. Some annotations contain references to materials of special scientific and practical value. Links to debatable aspects, original author's developments, archival documents are given. The unity of the annotation methodology was manifested in the sequence of elements included in the annotations, the use of unified terminology. The annotations are laconic, accessible for perception due to the great editorial and bibliographic experience of the compiler.
It is known that annotation is one of the most complex and time-consuming processes of bibliography, requiring not only a good knowledge of the subject, but also a significant investment of time. Unfortunately, the index of the contents of the magazine "secretarial business » is partially annotated - obviously, due to the too short time period allotted for this work.
The author of the index made the right decision to group bibliographic records based on the synthesis of two approaches: academic disciplines specialty "Documentation and preschool education" and compliance with the structure of the journal, the names of its permanent headings. So, in the index of the contents of "Secretary Affairs" the names of some structural divisions of the publication familiar to readers ("Secretary Fates", "The Art of Like", " Business etiquette "etc.).
The grouping of bibliographic records reflected the content differences of the journals, providing readers with the opportunity to analyze the materials of thematic headings. Since both journals began to be published in the same period, their editor-in-chief, a scientist and teacher, Professor T.V. Kuznetsova, together with colleagues, consistently solved the difficult tasks of a comprehensive disclosure of the problems of preschool educational institutions, orienting various categories of consumers of information, including the secretarial corps , in all professional achievements.
Carefully developed thematic grouping of bibliographic records makes the entire array of articles easily visible. If necessary, you can get comprehensive information about the degree of coverage and development of certain topics. It is valuable that this information is very fully disclosed in the review and analytical articles of the compiler, included in the structure of content indexes.
As a leading teacher of document management disciplines at PGICC, the author is well versed in their subjects. This helped to avoid duplication of bibliographic information in the sections, linking together material of a homogeneous nature through a system of links. Links are available in most sections. Therefore, the reader can quickly identify information about publications related to the issue of interest to him, even if they are in other subsections.
In terms of search capabilities, auxiliary indexes of authors and works published under the title are of independent importance. Using the author index, you can find out, for example, which works are written by a certain author, or clarify information about the article (exact title, year, number, pages), if the author is known to the user.
Familiarization with the indexes of authors clearly demonstrates the composition of the authors of the journals. The works of 382 authors were published in "Secretary Affairs", 49 of them acted as guests who gave interviews to the editors. The index of the authors of the journal Deloproizvodstvo contains 286 names, 81 of them were the authors of both journals at the same time. In addition, desirable options for auxiliary "keys" could be a geographic index that determines the territorial affiliation of the authors, and / or an index of organizations, educational institutions, the authors of which are presented on the pages of these periodicals.
Relatively small circulations of very useful indexes of the content of journals (“Secretary business” - 100 copies, “Office work” - 200 copies) lead to the idea of the need to form their annually updated online version. Electronic version journal content index » posted on the site consulting group"Termika", which has a complete set of this periodical in in electronic format, so everyone can read this guide.
