What is the responsibility of the chief

The Engineer is solely responsible for the following items:

• non-fulfillment or poor-quality fulfillment of their direct duties prescribed in this DI and the labor legislation of the Russian Federation;
• causing damage to the material values ​​of the employer or homeowners or tenants of premises;
• commission of offenses in the workplace or abuse of office for personal or mercenary purposes

The responsibility of the chief engineer is hard to overestimate. The technical condition of communications and residential premises, safety, health and life of people depend on the responsible performance of their official powers.
