It is even less obvious where, in addition to the garbage heap, the annoying interior items can be taken. The Village learned how to give old clothes and furniture a second life.

"BlagoBoutique"

"BlagoButik" - one of the pioneers of social entrepreneurship in Russia - opened on September 20, 2012. At the same time, he became the first store in Moscow where you can bring things as a gift. Only designer items are accepted here. famous brands, so it makes sense to look in your closet for Armani, Dior or Emilio Pucci collections. The main thing is that everything is in perfect condition. In the future, the store sells things in favor of seriously ill children - wards of the Podari Zhizn and Faith foundations. To help children, you can bring clothes, shoes, bags, clutches, stoles, scarves, belts, ties, watches, as well as souvenirs, art and antiques and jewelry: necklaces, bracelets, brooches and, for example, earrings.

Charity Shop

Many American thrift stores help people with disabilities find jobs. The Charity Shop performs an equally important function: profits from sales of clothing are directed to the Second Wind charity fund, which implements programs for the employment of people from socially vulnerable groups. In addition, part of the profits is donated to the Vverkh Equal Opportunity Center, which helps graduates of orphanages and correctional boarding schools to get an education.

In addition to the usual private donors, Charity Shop cooperates with expat communities, shopping and business centers, and also organizes clothes collection campaigns in offices - you can bring a container for collecting clothes right there, picking it up from a special warehouse. It is worth renting out any casual or festive clothes - it doesn’t matter if it’s luxury or mass market, brands are not as important as appearance and quality preservation. However, even rags are accepted in the Charity Shop - torn, outdated and worn clothes. Of course, no one will wear it, but rags will be used for industrial purposes in metallurgical plants, shoe factories and much more. At the same time, shoes, bags, belts and accessories are accepted only in good condition, as they are not recyclable.

"Shop of Joy"

"Lavka Joy" is the first Russian charitable store, which was opened in 2012 thanks to Katya Bermant, director of the organizations "All Together" and "Children's Hearts". Project volunteers affectionately call the store a shop and accept absolutely any thing - from vintage items and souvenirs to ordinary new and not so clothes (but the ones that are sold will definitely be in good condition, as they are selected before entering the store). But things that have served their time are still taken in order to be sent for processing or to a dog shelter for pet bedding.

There are no joys in the "Shop" fixed prices and checkouts. The coordinator helps each buyer decide on a donation, which he lowers into a sealed box. You can also install a do-box in your office, in which all employees can bring unnecessary things on their way to workplace. All funds raised from the sale of items go to the account of the All Together charity organization. According to the volunteers, it is still not worth bringing books (there is nowhere to put them) and large interior items. It is worth trying to find more unnecessary toys, clothes, bags and accessories.

"Dump "

“Just rake everything in one big pile and call us - we ourselves will come and take everything out at once,” such a call was posted on his website by the social entrepreneur and founder of the Dump service Alexei Barinsky. In order for the service to help turn unnecessary junk into good, you must leave a request, agree on a time and wait for the on-site team at the appointed time. Project staff pick up any items, except for those that are already considered garbage. They accept gifts of clothes, books, toys, old and broken household appliances, crockery and furniture.

As a bonus for frugality, the former owners will be paid a small bonus. Then things are taken apart in a warehouse, dishes are washed, clothes are sorted and disinfected with quartz, shoes are cleaned, appliances (if possible) are repaired, and books are sorted into categories. At the same time, what is not suitable for sale for recycling is separated and handed over, or disposed of with the help of the “Defigurement” project. Further given in proper form"Dump" sells things at a flea market.

At the disposal of buyers - a large shopping room, where a flea market is open every day from 12:00 to 21:00. Here, 90% of things can be bought for less than 500 rubles. The project also has an online store that sells the most interesting items available. Among other things, "Svalka" cooperates with wholesale buyers, flea markets, enterprises for the processing of old clothes, waste paper, scrap metal and household waste. And 70% of the proceeds are transferred to Dobro Mail.Ru.
