If you live in a village, then organizing the start of your business is as easy as shelling pears. If you have an individual entrepreneur and several dairy cows, you already provide yourself with constant “live money”. Sales of products in this case are made to regional centers, retail outlets of nearby settlements and independent sales of milk and dairy products. Dairy products in this case mean sour cream and cottage cheese - these products do not require additional equipment and costs.

It would be reasonable to use the profit received not for personal needs, but for expanding the business and increasing the range.

There are several options for opening a milk processing plant and the production of dairy products.

One of them is the acquisition of a turnkey business. Those. the purchase of a ready-made dairy plant with well-established marketing and supply systems, possibly even with its own farm in addition. If the selected dairy plant uses only “imported” milk and does not have its own livestock, over time you can correct this situation yourself by acquiring the necessary number of cows. Of course, before buying livestock, you need to calculate the pros and cons - it is quite possible that buying milk will be economically more profitable than keeping cows. By purchasing a ready-made plant, you immediately get a ready-made sales market, regular customers, well-established production, not to mention the fact that milk production equipment has already been purchased, installed and in working order. But there is one significant "but" - a good business is rarely sold "just like that." When buying a ready-made dairy, you run the risk of encountering malfunctions and problems, because of which the former owner decided to get rid of the production.

An alternative to buying a ready-made dairy is to start from scratch. Despite all the difficulties and cost of this method (both financial and nervous), such a plant will be made according to all your requirements and located exactly in the area that, in your opinion, is most profitable.

"Dairy" assortment

Even starting with 1-2 cows in your yard, it is not rational to stop
only in the production of whole milk. With limited funds, you can start, as already mentioned, with those dairy products that do not require additional equipment: sour cream and cottage cheese. A workshop for milk processing and the manufacture of dairy products is a very costly, but at the same time profitable business. The entry threshold to the market is quite high, the requirements for products are high, and competition with the giants of the market does not make it possible to easily expand their production. However, if the company manages to gain a foothold in the market, the revenues will be significant.

The milk processing workshop should have an area of ​​about 200 sq.m. This is required both for the placement of equipment and for the arrangement of the office area. The room must be heated, have the ability to adjust the temperature, ventilation and fire extinguishing systems, as well as electricity, water supply and sewerage. Renting such a workshop will cost about 280,000 rubles per month, including utility bills.

As equipment, you need to purchase a diversified line. It includes all the necessary components for the production of pasteurized milk, kefir, butter, cheese and other dairy products.
